Monday, July 15th, 10:00AM CST

Where are we gathering?

Red Arrow Park, 920 N. Water St., Milwaukee, WI 53202

Bus drop-off is at the intersection of E. State St. and N. Broadway. This is the north-east corner of the block in which Red Arrow Park is located.

Where can I park? Is public transit available?

Please reference this map for parking locations and public transit options. Map not loading? Click here

We have compiled a list of parking lots that are within a 35 minute walk of Red Arrow Park. The map also shows highlighted areas that may have street parking available. The parking lots and street parking is located to the north, east, and south of Red Arrow Park. We do not recommend parking to the west of the park because of the security zones. Some lots and street parking may fill up quickly and we cannot guarantee any spots will be available. Be sure to pay attention to any parking signs or rules posted for the lots, as we will not be liable for cars receiving tickets, or getting towed.

Parking Citations

Make sure you pay attention to parking signs, as there may be a two hour parking limit. If you leave your car parked for longer than the parking limit, you may risk receiving a parking citation. Most citations will start at about $25. You can check out the list of citation types and amounts here.

Taking the Bus

Parking near Red Arrow Park will be extremely limited during the RNC. You may have a better chance at parking outside of the downtown area and walking or taking the bus to Red Arrow Park. If you have not taken the bus in Milwaukee (MCTS), the easiest way to use the buses is through the UMO app. You can purchase your bus fare, scan your QR code for boarding, and look at bus schedules and routes directly in the app. If you have questions about the UMO app, click here.

The bus fare for adults is $2/ride. If you would like more information on bus fares, click here.

MCTS released information about route changes during the RNC, you can find that information here.

If you are parking in the lots or residential area north of Red Arrow Park, the Greenline, 14, 15, 30, and 33 lines will be available and have stops within 4 blocks of Red Arrow Park.

If you are parking to the south of Red Arrow Park, the 15, 18, 19, 80, and Greenline will be available and have stops within 3 blocks of Red Arrow Park.

The Hop, a streetcar, will also be available to those parking in the downtown area. The Hop is free to ride. You can find route information here.

What items are prohibited?

Please refer to the RNC Prohibited Items section of the FAQ for information on items that are forbidden at the event.

Is the march going to be accessible?

We will not be able to provide vehicles for people to ride in along the march route as part of our route is in the soft zone for RNC Security. The route is 1.67 miles long and the weather may be very hot. The Secret Service has imposed a lot of security restrictions that make this march less accessible than we would like such as taking away our access to vehicles, having an extensive restricted items list, and refusing to answer our questions about RNC Security Zone. What we can offer is our marshal and medic teams, both of which are trained to keep us as safe as possible during the March.

Will there be medics available for the march?

We have an organized team made up of people with various backgrounds in healthcare and experience as street medics in other mass demonstrations. Their main objective is to be on the lookout for any medical emergencies, and to prevent heat exhaustion. March participants are encouraged to bring their own sunscreen and water, but the medic team may provide these items to people who need them. There will be a tent available for people who need to cool off from the heat.
